Fell off the wagon!

I haven't been on here in ages and I think that has been half of the problem, at least when I was coming on here almost daily I was motivated to stick to my diet!

2 months ago I stopped taking my xenical as I was going away for 4 days for my birthday and then having a meal out with all my family the day I got back.
The plan was to go straight back on the xenical at the end of that week, unfortunately my grandad passed away 4 days after my bday and I just 'gave up' on my diet, I was always at family members houses eating any rubbish that came my way and now I feel absolutely terrible because I have gained probably a stone or more back (I had lost 3 1/2 stone)

Anyway this isn't a self-pitying post! I am going to start taking my xenical again on Monday and I will be back on track and more focused than ever :D

Wish me luck for round 2 of my xenical journey!

p.s I will weigh in on monday and update my ticker and stats then as I am too scared to get on the scales just yet!

Good luck Claire, and welcome back :D

Sorry to hear about your Grandad...it really is so difficult to stick to any routine when emotional things like that happen...and nobody would blame you for losing your way a little.
So well done for managing to refocus - you sound really determined so I know you'll be back on track in no time.

So, onwards and downwards! We can do this!

I too lost just over 3 stones last year on xenical and gave up after 7 months for some unknown reason. Now have put it all back on again.
I started again last Sunday and have lost 1 stone since then. So we can do it again.
Well done on trying again.

Make sure you keep my portaloos clean at the race for life. OOOps just looked and you were there on 4th july. How did you get on? Hope you weren't one of the tail enders with the st.johns people. They always hold our lads up trying to clean the loos. Cause we have to wait for everyone to finish first.lol

Race for life went quite well this year (for once!) I'm usually one of the last ones over the finish line!
But this year we finished kinda in the middle, woohoo.

Welcome back love. Hope you are able to lose what you put back on really quickly. There are loads of new peeps on here doing really well, and i find them so inspiring, I hope that you find that motivation too!

slim104- It was absolutely boiling hot on the day, I got burnt even though I covered myself in sun cream. I must say though, the Nivea cheerleader men kept out minds off of the heat!!

Kes-Thanks for the message. Yeah I have been reading posts since I came back and it just motivates me and makes me wanna succeed.
Well done on your loss so far, you're doing fab!
