Toby Carvery

Moooooo
We're going to Toby Carvery tonight so I did a search on here but all the syn values stated seem very low. I ran through some of the foods in the calculator and they're a lot more. For example none of the meat is free. It's not a lot 1syn per 100g of beef and gammon, 1/2 for turkey. The stuffing comes out at 7.5 syns per 100g, how heavy is a stuffing ball? The yorkshire pudding came out at 16.5 syns per 100g but it doesn't say how heavy the actual yorkshire pud is, they're pretty huge though. So now I'm just confused.:( Help please.

EEk as we went last night and I didn't think of the meat having syns:( Ah well, I filled more than a third of my plate with the veg and only had a small yorkshire pudding. The yp's are sooo light that I don't think that it would be that many syns. The stuffing balls are very dense though aren't they so how about not having one. Sorry, probably not much help.

Thanks, you're right I don't think I'll both with the stuffing and will think about the yorkshire pud, I love them and not sure if it would be the same without. If I don't have any pots (on a red day) then I can get away with a yp and gravy.:)

thats what i would have thought i was worried then not done sw for a while and thought it had really changed if meat was not free

oh yeah i guess !! but thought tesco cooked chickens where free and that is the same thing (sort of) anyway it has to be better than what i have been eating the last few months...

I just went by the SW website if you look for toby carvery and type in beef/gammon/turkey it says it's synned though it's not a huge amount so I don't think it would matter a great deal if you think of it as free.

I enjoyed the meal didn't go mad had a teeny yp, about a dessert spoon of stuffing and 3 little boiled pots though I think they had butter on. Oh well, could have been worse!

Gotta love a Toby carvery - syns or not! I just have loads of veg as I'm a veggie.
