I went out tonight and had free booze on offer all night, I only had 4 single rum and diet cokes......now for someone who used to drink heavily every night, that is some damn self control !!

WOW!
You're a stronger person than I... I managed to pretty much stick to Vodka last night, although I caved and got a Tikka Subway on the way home - bad for my syns, good for my hangover!

The other day I managed to NOT drink, and NOT get a takeaway when everyone else did, but my god was that hard!

Good for you, and I bet you feel great for it too, instead of guilty or hungover the day after! I just hope I can exercise the same control next month when my sister in law comes to visit! Last time she was here we got through a whole bottle of sambuca in one night!
