Must have kitchen gadgets

Which gadgets, if any, have helped you on SW.

I've already got a slow cooker. Is a food processor or a mini chopper a godsend?

Thanks:)

I must use mine every day but mostly for blending the cooked veggies for my free soup. I would not like to be without it.

I also could not be without my pressure cooker. It is a godsend for cooking a whole chicken and keeping it moist. Of course the liquor from it becomes the next days soup. Fantastic too for cheaper cuts of beef. They are always tender after cooking this way. I leave the liquid in the fridge overnight and if there is any fat solidified I just take it off and know that my soup stock is fat free.

I couldnt live without my stick blender. I use it instead of the processor more often than not as easier to get out and put away

scales
slow cooker
measuring cups/spoons
george forman grill

Stick blender (I have a cheap one from Tesco and it is great for soups)

Titan vegetable peeler (from Lakeland)

German mini grater which I got from TK Maxx - they only had one and I wish I could have found another one for my sister. Great for ginger and small amounts of cheese

Good sharp knives - years ago I was given a set of six Japanese Global knives and they are wonderful. I keep them well sharpened on a special stone

Actifry and slow cooker - they take up a lot of space but are really useful

Chinese cleaver (haven't had a peep out of OH since I got it!:p)
Microplane graters, expensive but worth it
Slow cooker
Pressure cooker, great for cooking pulses
Digital scales
Kenwood mixer to do my bread.

I agree with lots of the above but would like to add:

microwave rice steamer - perfect rice every time!

Slow cooker
George Forman grill

blender
digital scales
measuring cups and spoons

And I'm absolutely itching to buy myself an Actifry :D

Food processer
Scales
George Foreman
Silicone bakeware

Considering getting a pineapple peeler/corer too as I likes me pineapple!

Oh I have one of those! I got it from Lakeland - reduced it was and only cost me a couple of quid  It's absolutely fab! Makes very short work of dealing with a pineapple! Wouldn't be without mine :D

I have an apple slinky which is great because for some reason I hate biting into whole fruit but will eat it like this. You can either peel it at the same time or leave the skin on.

Pre SW I used to make curly fries with it which were yummy.

I have a general microwave steamer (which can also do rice), but I find it's great for keeping in the flavour , I've rediscovered several veggies, I used to hate cauliflower and to a lesser degree carrots, but it's sooo much better in the steamer.

We also have a pressure cooker with a steam function, which is great when we have company.

A good set of sharp knives are also important.

as well as alot of the above - I love my egg timer for boiled eggs!! lol

I never have to worry about my eggs not being cooked or over cooked if i want dippy eggs - & at just 99p a bargain!!!!
