Evening all,

Does anyone have one of these and if so how do Syn free chips come out when cooked in it?

We never eat chips done at home as my hubby doesnt like oven chips and i refuse to get a deep fat fryer.

I wanted some recommendations/reviews before i fork out a whopping £130 for one

Thanks

I have one and LOVE it!! I usually make wedges rather than chips, but they come out lovely! Hubby makes normal chips for the kids (uses the oil they recommend) and they gobble them up.

The really good thing about it is it's not just chips you can cook in it, I do sausages (using fry light), stir fry and even cook diced chicken in it.

I love the chips it makes - dry and crispy and very tasty. Follow the instructions about rinsing and drying the chips before you cook them - it really does make a difference.

And I put the chips in a bowl, spray them with Frylight and mix them around to get them properly coated, rather than putting them in the Actifry and then spraying them. This gives a more even result.

do you actually have to use any oil/ fry in it or can it just be used to cook/ steam things like veg without fry light???

I got mine tonight we have had chips for tea using frylight and they were absolutely yum even hubby was impressed.
We had our chips with steak, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes and peas life dosn't get much better when your on a diet lol :)
