Body Fat Measuring Scales

Just to let you know, Sainsburys currently have an offer on and a lot of their scales are half price.

This includes some of their body fat analyser ones. :)

I'm not sure if the offer is in the stores (I seem to remember seeing some in our local one earlier this week) or just online, but if any of you are thinking about investing in a set of analysis scales it might be worth a look.

If any of you are wondering if they are worthwhile to have I personally would say yes. I've found it really uplifting sometimes to see that fat go down, especially during the weeks when my losses have been relatively small. I also like to keep a check on my muscle percentage to make sure that isn't going down, as a loss of muscle would mean a slower metabolism and slower loss.

thank you so much for this ! .... i will be getting some for sure xx

I love my body fat scales too. Its even better than watching the lbs drop IMO. I used to be 38% and am now down to 25.5%. Mine measure visceral fat too (that fat which surrounds the organs) and I've dropped that to 4 (acceptable is up to 12! and my skinny husband is 6). It also measures metabolic age and mine comes out between 26 to 28- not bad for a 45 year old! Feels great to know the fat as you can see how much healthier you are getting too.

wow Gina, your scales sound amazing (if only they could do the ironing too!) I didn't know you could get such detailed ones. Mine just measure fat and I was 51% when I started and now I'm 47% and it is good to see that it's fat going and not muscle (or brain!)
