Has anyone else swap from CD or similar to CC?

I am now on day 5 of calorie counting and I know I shouldn't but I weight my self every morning. I think 1200 calories per day is still low but scales aren't moving?!? Could this be because for 12 weeks I was only having 500 cal a day on average?

I'm not complaining and I'm so pleased to be eating again and I know it will work itself out. I'm just curious?

I have never done CD or any VLCD type thing, the idea terrifies me, I like real food too much! But I would say going from such a low calorific intake to 1200cals a day, give it a full month to let your body adjust and get used to it :)

And I am also stuck in a "weigh a day" habit. It sucks. I need to stop doing this...!!

Yes I did. At first your losses slow or you even gain as you are replacing the glycogen you lost at the start of Cambridge. That big 9-12 pound woosh at the start of Cambridge...that's glycogen. Once you eat carbs it goes back on as it is just the energy stores that your body has to enable it to run when it needs to.

So for a few weeks staying the same is a result...you are actually losing but it's hidden by the glycogen gain. For more info on glycogen see here

It depends on what your eating
i weigh myself every day without fail
as soon as i get out of bed

Some times you wont goto toilet for days
i eat 2kg of veg/salad most days
add that up over 4 days

1 pint of water is also 1lb

if you havnt put on any weight since yesterday
but have 1kg of food from yesterday in you
you have clearly lost weight
