Morning everyone, has anyone frozen or reheated any of the currys out of the cookbook? I made a tikka masala on friday and have to say it was fantastic but there was so much left over and I felt sad to throw it away lol but it doesnt say in the book whether its safe to reheat/freeze

I don't see any reason why you could not freeze it. I would have. The only reason i would have had not to freeze it , if it had been frozen before.

Glad you enjoyed it, i 'm on my way out to weigh in and hoping to get the curry heaven book. I will check with the consultant about the 'freezing' and get back to you.

Is the curry recipe on here.....is it free on any of the plans......or how many syns etc......will be starting on weds, going first meeting tomo

According to the book, the Chicken Tikka recipe is not freezer friendly.

I'm not familiar with the recipe but suspect that it will have FF fromage frais or quark in it and they don't freeze well. Too late now but for future reference you could freeze the basic tikka and add in the cream substitute when re-cooking it.

It has natural yoghurt and fromage frais in it
