Anybody stayed here??

I just wanted to ask you lovely people if any of you have stayed in puerto del carmen in the Parque Tropical apartments.I have done alot of research on them but just wondered if anyone on here had any input,its my 1st time going to lanzarote,i cant wait im literally living for it.

Also if anyone that has been to lanzarote has gone on the catamaran trip,is it worth the money and is it good for kids(9&6)

I have been to Lanzarote twice. I have stayed in Playa Flamingo further down than playa blanca. Also in Costa Teguise.

I recomend you go to the volcano! I would not neccessarily pay for the expensive excusions as once you get up to the volcan car park the volcano bus is free. I would use the money to get a car and shoot up there yourself. We liked the animal park/ or texas racho park as it was called ..you could lose a whole day there so pack a picnic. We also went to the top of the island (Mirador) for great views and we visited the parrot park. If I went again I would probably give the parrot park a miss but thats just my opinion.

Watch out for the Lidl supermarkets for cheap groceries, everywhere is so expensive in the canaries.
