Today's the day..............

..........I get my cast off (for good I hope)!!!! Yay!!!!

I've been in a 'beckham boot' for the last 4 weeks, after changing from a plaster cast, and been studiously doing the physio needed to help mend and strengthen so it feels like a real achievement!

Still got some intensive physio to go, but I'm so excited to be free of it! I expect I'll still need the crutch but by golly I want to be up and at 'em by August and my 2 week hols!

Hope all goes well, I remember when I had my cast off it does take a while to get used to it, you will need the crutch for a while yet.

It's been 3 years since I broke my foot & even now I can still 'feel' it occasionally.

Don't expect immediate recovery.

You'll need to pack some low heeled shoes for your hols
