Dress to big

Never in a million years did I ever think a Karen Millen size 14 would be too big on me. Yesterday, I tried on a size 14 fitted strapless dress and it was too baggy on top and really loose around the waist - I wanted to jump up and down in the fitting room!! :happy036: At the start of foundation I was a size 18 top and a size 20/22 bottom! I've got about four to five weeks to go so I bought the size 12 (I could get into it yesterday but it was tight).
I am a very happy person :)

Well done! That must have felt amazing :) You will have to put up photos!

Get my "after" picture taken on Wednesday - it'll be interesting to see the difference - even though all my clothes are smaller - in my head I'm still the same size...I've got 4 weeks developers and then route to management.

Well done! I was eyeing up a Karen Millen dress which was in the sale today thinking how wonderful it would be to be able to try on a size 14 and zip it up with ease - and you've done it!! And bought it in a size 12 to boot :D

I've just noticed we started the same day! I also had the pics done on Wednesday and can't wait to see them. Like you I am planning on 4 weeks developers and then RTM, so we may finish at the same time too!

Good luck :D

Well done. Bet you felt amazing. I got my after photos back on thurs nite as it was week 1 of my developers. Such a change. I have went from a size 28 to a 14 on bottom and 16 on top. Still a long way to go but also came such a long way x

Had my "after" picture taken on Wednesday only to be told by my counsellor that she's lost the memory card that had the "before" on! So maybe I'll never see the comparison. I also had my measurements done again though - lost 8.5 inches off bust 13 inches of my waist and 8.5 inches from hips, amazing. I'm a real shoe addict and my husband promised me another pair of Louboutins as a treat when I'd completed foundation - I do believe I'm ready for them... charliefarlie well done keep up the good work - iwillgetthere your weight loss is amazing!

Thanks fitness queen. Another 4.5 lb off tonight :)

OMG i would so be crying if my LL Counseller told me she lost the memory card. Fingers crossed she finds it again. You are doing amazing - keep up the good work. And enjoy the shoes u deserve them x

FQ I'm beyond excited for you! I love my Choo's and Louboutins and now you've given me the wonderful idea of treating myself to shoes at the end of Foundation! Hmmmm some Manolo's this time me thinks :D

AJB I love shoes - actually I adore shoes (my constant friend through fat and thin!) Go for it - Manolos are fab! Blimey iwillgetthere from a size 28 to a 14 that is amazing - you must be over the moon. Charliefarlie let me know how you get on with developers.

I've always said you can't beat accessories - fat or thin - shoes or a handbag will never fail to fit :D

Hey FQ! Does the dress fit now??!!

Hi AJB - haven't been on all week really busy at work - yes the dress fits perfectly now - I'm starting RTM on Monday when I will have finished 18 weeks on abstinence and be where I want to be). My husband is taking me to Louboutin in a couple of weeks to get the said new Louboutins (might see if we can squeeze in a bit of Selfridges action as well!). I'm obsessed with clothes, I've bought so many over the past few weeks - I think at the moment I'm keeping Karen Millen and All Saints afloat - it's so lovely to go in and pick up a size 12! How are you doing - it looks like you're having steady weight loss which is good. Let me know how you're getting on.
Yx

Hey FQ1 I'm doing great - happy with my loss tonight - giving me 1st 8lbs in 6 weeks - so thats right on target for me to lose 3 1/2 stones in Foundation - will probably do Developers for a month to lose another stone and then on to RTM with hopefully no more than 7lbs to go - thats the plan anyway :D

So pleased the dress fits and you're enjoying shopping - I've got a wardrobe full of size 12 clothes that are begging to be worn - can't wait!
