Onward We Go

Today is day 17 for me and what a 16 days it has been. 26lbs later, 5 inches slimmer, gym ready to be assembled, waiting for exersise bike and met some wonderful people on this forum, what more could I ask for.

I start today with a little bit of apprehension as I will be going to the Rose Bowl this evening to watch Hampshire lose, again, this I am not to worried about but on each side of the ground there are hamburger stands, hot dog stands and behind us in the members area is a carvery. So like 2 weeks ago it is going to be very hard. This time harder because (I got it right this time Dietkitty) the novelty of this diet has worn off and the cravings are kicking in harder than ever. I did my wife some porridge this morning and I found myself drooling.

There is no chance of me cheating but I did consider not going tonight, but then I thought, I cannot lock myself away and stop what I enjoy doing best, watching sport, just to get away from the cravings. Life goes on and I must enjoy it with more vigour than ever done, show the world that I, Mark King, am on a VLCD, and getting healthier and thinner by the day.

To all those who are on weighing duty today, good luck, I am sure the scales with love you all.

Measuring tape or scales, Measuring tape or scales, Measuring tape or scales, oh bloody hell I cannot make up my mind,

Keep up the good work, by the time you get to week 5 or 6 you'll see how much its worth it. I had the same problem as yourself too going to a local event every week and not having any of the free food on offer, still when youve turned it down and gone home without munching you get a real buzz and it makes you more determined, it did with me.

I agree, after 2 days I went out to the Rose Bowl, did'nt touch food and when I left I felt as though I had won the lottery.
