Extra Easy Can a bad week catch up with you?

I'm getting weighed tonight,
I'm a bit worried because I had quite a naughty week last week and somehow still lost 2 and a half.
I also went out on Friday night for the football, had a pitcher and a bit of food (not SW friendly at all!!)
I need to lose a pound and a half to get my stone award!
Got a feeling friday and last week will catch up with me this week?
 
My consultant always said that what you did last week stays in last week, a bad week cannot 'catch up' with you. What does happen is you have a bad week but manage to get away with it by still having a loss or staying the same - so you think you can repeat that bad week and get away with it again - THAT is when your 'it caught up with me' gain happens!!

If you were good every day other than your outing on Friday you never know - but if you do have a gain then do a quick mental calculation:

LWL - TWG / 2W

(i.e. Last weeks loss minus this weeks gain, divided by two weeks) This will give you a more accurate view of the weight loss and I always felt it helped me to keep feeling motivated even after a gain to look at it on an average basis rather than week by week.

I know from Low Carbing that they say it takes a couple of days for any indulgences to have an impact on the scales but not overly sure if thats the case with SW cos I'm regularly a bad girl and it never impacts on the scales.So I think it is a very forgiving diet in that way

Hmm, the only thing I would be thinking is that the pitcher you had, if thats beer, then it'll be high in cals or cocktail just as much too. Best if you save your syns for things like that and that way you don't feel guilty. But hey.. you may have done enough already to get that off, so good luck xx
