When OH and I were both working, my "luxury" was to have my eyelashes and eyebrows dyed and then my eyebrows waxed. I bought some dye just after Xmas, but found that wearing glasses I couldn't pluck my eyebrows into a decent shape. Well! I found some wax strips that are shaped for eyebrows, so the other night I dyed my brows, (it's such a shock as you can't see them normally!) I looked like Groucho Marx! But these little strips are wonderful! Just press on and rip off and VOILA! I have nice arched eyebrows!

What are they called? they sound fab.

I normally get mine threaded but when I had it done a few months ago she messed up my eyebrow.

I've now got an eyebrow that half of it the hair sticks straight up if you see what I mean. I really don't know what to so to make it right again but it's really annoying me.

They are called Miss Wax, 19 (peculiar number!) for £1.99. I got them in Superdrug.

Obviously they're expecting you to have to do one eyebrow one more time than the other!

Every single time I get mine done, the woman spends much more time on one than the other - irritates me so much! I still prefer plucking, though threading gives me that amazingly clean feel. Tweezers all the way! xxx

Oh I have tweezers! I keep them in the car for my beard and moustache
