Missb1985 - My Diary

Hi all,

I'm a new member and have decided to keep track of my progress on this forum. I find it much more motivation to stick my plan if I have to share it with you all :)

A little bit about me - I'm 24 years old and currently weigh 186lbs. I would love to get down to 145lbs in time for my 25th birthday in November. I'm very much an emotional eater and am trying to deal with the issues that stand in my way of success!

I have tried all sorts of 'quick fix' diets in the past without much luck, so have decided that it has to be good old hard work to get me to my goal.

My new lifestyle change (I hate the word diet) will involve keeping to around 1200-1300 calories per day and working out for one hour at least 4 days per week.

As I mentioned earlier, the idea of having to share my progress up/downs with you all should hopefully motivate me to keep on track. I appreciate any comments, advice or any stories that you want to share with me :)

Thanks for sharing my journey with me!

Love, Missb1985 xx

Hello and welcome :)

Welcome aboard. Your plan for a new lifestyle sounds great - sticking to around 1200 to 1400 calories a day, and exercising an average of 30 minutes 4 times a week has been working for me, so I'm sure you will soon see the results. Good luck x

Day 1 - Help!

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the support so far.

The day is going pretty well so far :

B/F: Porridge and coffee - 400cals
M/T: Beef Jerky - 96cals
Lunch: Tuna salad, apples and mini kit kat - 397 cals

So far I seem to be on track for my 1300 cals, however I just got a message from my other half about catching up with some friends of ours at the pub tonight. They are good friends that I haven't seen in some time so I don't really want to turn the invite down.

Question for you all then - in this situation, do you avoid alcohol all together, just have a few , or choose a low-calorie option?

Thanks :)

Go for spirits if you can with a diet mixer. Gin and tonic is my favourite. go and enjoy yourself. its not like its an everyday occurence.
x
