flatbread co. pitta bread in adsa

hi

i was in asda looking for pitta bread and found this on the shelf and wondered if they were a hex b choice, they work out at 7syns on the calculator?

No they are not. There are currently no pitta's on the HExB list now. :(
 
Just checked online - Asda's own brand wholemeal pittas can be counted as a Healthy Extra B, but they are the only ones.

Yes they are but they were taken off the shelf for "health and safety reasons" and dont think they are coming back.

There are threads on here somewhere with people explaining it a bit better than me!!
 
Asda is stocking wholemeal pitta bread again but it is a different brand, the one referred to in the OP, and it's is not a HEB I'm afraid.
 
What about ocado/waitrose wholemeal pitta bread. I notice they have the same ingredients/recipe as the old asda wholemeal pitta bread.

Would email SW and ask them, but am not a member at the moment :eek:
