where do you get your support

on here obviously is a good place, but I also get it from my hubby and my CDC :D

like most people there are a few who don't think it's a good idea :sigh:, but as the weight has gone they have quietened, and even enquired about what the diet entails etc.

just wondering is all, I had very little or negative support at the beginning, and now I'm on week 6 the support has grown as I've shrunk, so anyone new whose getting grief just know it generally gets better and the diet is worth it

have a great week everyone

I'm only on day 1 but my fiancé is hugely supportive :D as well as my really lovely CDC who I met this morning!

I've chosen not to tell anyone at work or even some of my family - I'm not ashamed or anything like that but I just want to get on with it without any added pressure. :) or questions because It's likely people will have their opinions lol
I'm sure i'd be ok if everyone knew but I think the support on here and of my OH, mum etc could be enough to keep me going for now... :)

Roll on Day 2 :p xx

i live with the food police so he keeps an eye on what im doing

i put my 3 shakes out on the counter and he will remind me to have them

i chat to my cdc each week thou usually about things not conected to cambridge, lol

i dont work due to madam and i have no friends ( due to madam and the fact my male friends never seem to understand not crossing the line ) so the negative comments i get are from the general public ( or my dads girlfriend ) and the day i listen to them will be the day i paint my butt bright red and flash it in the windows of evans

My Mum, Sister and Best Friend are very supportive but my Daughter is my number one cheerleader :D. When I have off days she leaves me lovely messages on post it notes and we always celebrate each loss with high-five lol.

My CDC is brilliant and frankly has the patience of a saint with my numerous restarts over the past five..yep count em five years.

And Minimins of course which is a brilliant source of support (even if you don't really post). No matter which diet you are doing or whether you have one stone or twenty stone to lose somebody will always pop up with a kind word.

I haven't come across much negativity yet but not many people know I am doing the diet.

Sharon xx

My OH and my brother is supportive also my nan when the mood takes her lol. Everyone knows i am on this diet, people at work and my friends i aint to bothered they all seem really supportive too. My CDC is a little star and i dunno what i would have done without her shes been a total rock. Also i dont think i could have even got past day one without this place... so thank you everyone :D xxxx

My DH is supportive when he is not hungry .... he says all the right things but sometimes he annoys me by saying ....lets get this food or that food then it makes it very difficult for me and I have to make a decision about what I will or wont eat. I am not sure he quite gets how difficult this is. However he is the one who will benefit from my new figure as it appears so I am hoping he will learn eventually!

My DH is wonderful - as is my very good friend - and a couple of other friends are supportive too - my CDC is less so I am afraid - just wish I could buy the products and not see her
