LLL advice sought.....

Hi all
Some may remember me, have not been on the boards lately as got a bit tired of my whole life seeming to revolve around food and dieting- I am sure many will know what I mean!

Anyway, I have been maintaining pretty well for about 3 months now (yay!) but every day is a struggle and I recently returned from holiday 2 sizes bigger (have not been on the scales yet as don't want to get demotivated) Went back on packs (Exante, can't afford LL unfortunately) when I got home to get rid of the gain asap, and have hit the gym hard (am loving it these days, who would have thought it!)

2 weeks on I am almost back to where I was and want to do my own LLL as I need food to fuel my 8-10 hours a week at the gym!

Have been scouring the boards and there is some helpful stuff (esp. from Minerva) on what you can have.

My questions are around dairy. On LLL, what dairy is allowed and in what portions size? - ie skimmed milk, how much per day. any cheese allowed, and what about 0% fat free greek yog?

Sorry to post over here but the LLL board looks a little quiet.

Love to all that know me. Promise I'll contribute over here again.

Hi Peony
Welcome back hun.
Good for you - taking the control agaain straight away.
I do know what you mean about not wanting your whole life to revolve around diet, weight loss, Minimins, LL etc. BL and I have discussed this too.
However, 3 things keep me coming back to this forum:
1. I remember how motivating it was for me when I was on abstinence, to see other people who had lost their weight and were maintaining.

2. How easy it is for things to slip when you take your eye off the ball.

3. Being among like minded people who can relate to what we have to deal with.

Sounds like you are well on your way back to slimdom. Hope you had a fab holiday. xx

Hi Peony, well done for getting back to it, I cannot believe your amazing loss last time! I too am thinking of switching to lite as my 3 months finish tonight. Or should I say my friends in the group want to do it and want me to do it too so we can stay together. Would love to hear anymore info people can offer?

These 3 points I could have written. And you are sooooo right about keeping your eye on the ball SB. I have no regrets about climbing of the diet train on my hols but am so pleased with myself for getting straight back to work when I got home. I have now lost my holiday weight, with a lot of hard work and many hours at the gym!

It has shown me that I am in control, and that I can fluctuate a little without it being the end of the world so long as I deal with it quickly after. THat is so comforting as I was finding maintenence a bit hairy stress wise. It actually did me good to gain a little on holiday as I was able to learn that I could deal with it.

Thanks for your post Jez, how the devil are you? are you still keeping a diary thread? I will look out for it in a minute and hopefully catch up with your goss.

CF - what did you decide in the end? Have you switched to Lite? how are you getting on? Congrats getting to the end of Foundation honey. xxx

Hey Darling

WD on loosing the holiday bits!! Not much diary from me of late, too much work on, I am stupid busy!! We must still arrange a meet up at some point! Perhaps a little shopping trip??

Well done on losing the holiday weight Peony, you are such an inspiration!

I have decided to do deveolpers for 4 more weeks and then re-assess, hopefully I will nearly be at target then! I must admit - getting to the end of foundation has really affected me, I am finding it very hard to stay motivated.
