Why not shop around? Orange are doing iPhone deals for about £30/35

Hi i poped into PHONES 4U today and iphone 3g is £35 a month handset free.! on orange thou.!

shop around first .

3Gs is the latest one, the new one about to come out is the IPhone4. They will be RIDICULOUSLY overpriced.

If you can hang on a few weeks with your old phone, (if you dont renew then you dont start a new contract and can effectively then end your old one when you are ready) and wait for the IPhone4 to come out there will be plenty of good deals about for the 3GS.

That said, I have a 3G one and thats great. Its supposed to be a bit slower on the data transfer and stuff but I havent had any problems with mine at all and wont be upgrading it when my contract expires unless theres something wrong with it.

Ah ok cool i think i will do that. Its just the 3gs has video camera and i just want to be able to know that if bubs does something really cute or suddenly decides to walk or crawl more likeyl at his age lol. I have something handy to film asap. T-mobile have reduced my price plan to £10 a month from £25 whilst i decide anyway so not too bad at the moment. xxx

When I was shopping around I spoke to a girl at O2 who initially started to talk about the iphone, but when I asked about the Sony Ericsson X10 she said she'd just got that phone and she was absolutely raving about it - It's cheaper, has access to Apps, and a much better camera than the iphone. Funny how she suddenly got all enthusiastic talking about the thing that would've earnt her less commission!!

Anyway, I don't have an iphone yet, but I like that she was so honest about the comparison between the two

i have got an Iphone 3g and its great phone - im getting the iPhone4 when it comes out though - as i am due an upgrade.

My friend has a HTC phone (HTC Desire Mobile Phone on Pay Monthly) and they are really good - very similar to iPhones, in that they are touchscreen, but they use the Android system - very cool - its microsoft based.

My advice is go to the TMobile shop and play around with the phones.....then you can enjoy your new phone instantly, as you should be able to walk away with it!!! xxx

Good luck sweetie x

T-mobile dont actually have the iphone in their shop they are very naughty and give it to customers as a back handed gesture to keep them but are still charging £80 for the privilege.
I am going to keep at what i have now (sony Ericsson w850i) as they have reduced my monthly bill to £10 from £25 until i decide which can be for 12 months so i aint complaining. xxx

I'd stick with an iphone, best phone I've ever had personally. :D And I'll be getting the new one the day it's out.
I'd look at swapping to a different provider, I think o2 and orange are the best for deals with iphones. You should be able to get the phone for free as long as you're paying a fair bit a month (£30+)
I'd wait until the new one is released, I reckon the 3G S will become a lot cheaper then. :D

I got the HTC Tattoo and would not recommend it. It's great for internet and games but if you actually want to phone or text then the touchscreen is a total pain in the ass. Most of the buttons are too small and I've got fairly wee fingers as it is. Also if I want to send a text whilst on public transport it takes about 10 minutes to type 4 words as each bump I go over causes me to press the wrong button, accidently cancel out of the text, accept the wrong word on predictive text or send it halfway through typing it. I dunno if it's the phone or me with touchscreens in general though.

Not only that but every few days it has a problem recognising the SIM card and I have to put a fresh bit of tape over it to hold the SIM in properly. There is also a fault with the clock/alarm and Orange want me to pay a fortune to send it back to get it fixed. So instead I just bought myself a £1.99 alarm clock lol. Unfortunately I'm stuck with it for another 15 months so I'm actually considering going back to my old Sony Ericsson C902, it's that bad.

It's also got a terrible camera!

So aye, I would never get another HTC again.
