LOL! That's not high in syns! :D Very yummy and well worth the syns.

By the way you would just use it in the same way you would fromage frais.

I use creme fraiche on SF jelly and/or chopped fruit. It's very creamy (even the LF ones) so you only need one tbsp (or 2!) so it's a low syn desert.

I've also used it like sour cream, and to make a riata for curry when I've run out of 0% greek yogurt.

Oooh - quite high in syns I think. I just bought some to have with strawberries and meringue nest.

If you slice a banana and freeze the pieces, you can add them to a blender with creme fraiche and a tsp of honey. Comes out like an icecream type dessert. It is designed to be eaten immediately though.

Plus if you're one of the people who diesnt use syns very often during the day, then 3tbs of creme fraiche at 4.5 syns isn't horrendous.

Although admittedly I could easily eat my 15 syns worth of it in a oney with fruit.

But then its within syns anyway.

You do realise that technically you are supposed to syn the banana if blending it? Sounds yummy though and well worth the syns!

Oh yeah of course forgot about that doh!!
Saw it on a cookery programme once as a quick dessert and it was nice. Not had it since on sw though!

Mmm i lovee creme fraice i put it in nearly everythin the low fat one frm co op is the best realy creamy and only 1 syn! U can put it in a homemade soup to make it creamy instead of cream xx
