Best choice at the harvester?

Hello!

On Monday, I have to eat out at the Harvester for my sisters birthday.

I have been SS/SS+ solidaly now for the past 3 weeks and I don't want to ruin it on a massive splurge.

For that day or meal (may end up having lunch with sister too) I want to make the best choice I can. Then straight back onto ss the next day for the last 14 days til my holiday.

What should I have?

I went out for a meal with friends weekend before last and I had a small breast of chicken roasted and held on the gravy and asked for a small green salad instead of the creamed mashed taters and veggies. I only ate the green lettuce and left the tomatoes and red onions.

I am doing 810 plan though and these foods are allowed on that. I`m not sure what is and isn`t allowed on SS+

HTH, Have a lovely time :) x

I can have some meat I think and some veggies but only a small portion. I wondered whether I should just try and go for an atkins style meal e.g. heavy on the meat, light on the veg.

I looked on the menu's and they do a few fish options with green beans. Don't know if I can have green beans.

I am also concerned for how much this will affect me and my weight loss the week after - will i gain, lose nothing, or will it take me only a day or two to get rid of the extra cals.

I don't mind as I'm preparing myself but I guess I feel like I am developing a 'fear' of breaking the diet before my holiday.

You don't have to eat! You have a choice!Trust me, those who succeed are those who want it enough and are prepared to make short term sacrafices for long terms gains! There will be other birthdays and other meals. Depends what's more important to you.

In theory yes but as its a family meal and her 30th I think it would be a bit poor of me to not eat one birthday meal just becuase of a diet.

Trust me I have skipped work meals, i've had social events every weekend so far on this diet and we have a birthday party on Sunday and I have not eaten and will not. But I will make the exception for my sisters 30th.

I just want to make the best choice for this diet.

It's all about doing what's best for you, but I doubt that you not putting food in your mouth is going to affect your sister.

Just pick something low carb and you should stay in keytosis and not do too much damage.

Enjoy
