Interval training

I am trying to lose weight and have a treadmill in my garage that I wanted to get motivated to use. I downloaded a podcast free from itunes called couch to 5k - it starts with jogging for 60 secs then walking for recovery then jogging again for 60 secs and you build it up as you go along. I have found this really helpful and motivating as I am not a runner but found I can do this, your jogging increases after week 1 week 2 etc. Have a look and see what you think:)
 
I don't have that podcast, but this is the type of training I've been doing recently on the treadmill.

I've built it up now to walking for 3mins, running for 5mins etc for about 25 mins so far.

From what I've been told the interval training method is a great way to strip fat, as it continues to burn fat for a while after the workout too.
