It does, i've just done a presentation on Anorexia for Psychology at college, and I did a bit on this, that people can still see themselves as fat (and it is very real to them, its not just like they've seen a bit of puppy fat its that they actually see themselves as huge) its down to bodily perception and I can totally understand why that does happen as even people who are not anorexic but have lost a huge amount of weight, it can take a while for their head to catch up with how much weight they have really lost, as if you still perceive yourself as overweight, that is how you will see yourself.
