CD whilst on holiday?

I now have 3 weeks until my holiday (wooooo!) so 3 weeks to lose as much as I can weightwise (wooooo!) which will be 6 weeks on CD (Yipppeeee!).

Whilst I want to enjoy my holiday I don't want to go mad. On honeymoon I gained a stone in two weeks :-( and don't want that to happen! We are off to tenerife and I wonder whether it would be crazy to take some shakes and just had a shake at lunch time and then eat normally for breakfast and dinner?

I want to pick the healthy options and there should be lots of fish, meat and vegetable dishes but i love canarian potatoes and alcohol makes me pile the pounds on.

I'm also worried about eating normally as some people have said they get really bad stomach pain - don't want to ruin the holiday!

Any tips or advice or experience?
 
you could always take some shakes for breakfast/lunch or you can just find the healthy options when your over there. I took 5 days off when i went away in may, made sure i SS'ed until i got there and then as soon as i got back. (Sadly no healthy choices in Amsterdam - it was junk food city!) keep in mind you'll be more active on holiday as well with swimming, walking etc and i found that i had actually lost 3lbs when i went for my weigh in 3 days after i got back. If you can keep an eye on what your eating and maybe limit what you drink (i decided to only drink in the evenings and found it hit me alot quicker than it used to so didn't have much but enough IYKWIM!)

I did suffer from stomach cramps but alot of that was down to the sudden amount of carbs i was having, i recommend taking some gaviscon with you as that eases them fairly quickly. eat little and often and gentle walking etc and it should avoid them completely. The main thing is that it is your holiday, do what you want! if you want to have a full blow out (not recommending it mind you) then do it - any gain will go very quickly with CD. It's your holiday and all of this is down to choices so just make sure you have a good time and don't let the food or diet rule how you are :)
 
I went on holiday in week 4(atleast I think it was week 4!!)
I took bars for lunch and drank diet coke in the day.
For breakfast I had - egg, bacon, mushroom and/or fruit
Lunch - salad or nothing
Tea - pretty much anything I wanted but tried to avoid carbs
Drink - now this was my down fall I was going to stick to just vodka but I had everything from wine, beer to baileys.

I stayed the same. My one tip would be drink loads of water on the plane there and back.

I really want to enjoy my holiday but I also don't want to ruin my hard work so the hints and tips are so useful :p

I can't believe I am starting week 4 tomorrow and have stayed on track 100%

Everyone is so inspirational!!!!!!!!!!!
