when drinking diet fizzy drinks are you allowed to count it in with your water allowence for the day or should we stick with the 2lts water then the fizzy on top?

I count mine on top, but I only ever have Diet Coke if I'm going to have something fizzy, and it's 1 calorie or something silly like that so I don't worry about it
