:wavey:Hi All,

I've been a long time lurker in these forums ...but I'm finally starting the diet tomorrow after years of yo yo dieting:devilangel:...it has to stop!!!!
I'm actually looking forward to the change (and the weight loss:D)

Your posts on here are really inspiring...you've all had fab losses!!!

I've only got a few weeks til I go on Hols,we're off for the first 10 days of August...do I try and stay on diet when on hols, or have a little cheat (trying to stay on proteins) or refeed and start when I get back?

I'm 5 foot 6 and weigh around 16st 10lb (omg...how did it get to that:(:sigh::cry:) so I've got a fair way to go ...but at least I feel positive

Keep up the good work guys its been great reading your posts

hey sarah welcome to the site, this is a God send, the advice and support are brill!! :D

can i just say well done on making the decision to start this diet, its not easy but its sooo worth it.

with regards to refeed for your hol thats up to you hun, see how you get on with the diet and when it comes to it see how you feel then. :) the brill thing is you can lose 2 or more stone (depends on how your body burns the fat) by then so either way you wont be getting bigger and you will be able to make a decision that suits you. :D

the other thing i can add is to keep drinking the water, maybe set yourself some mini targets to aim for and also have some distractions ready. ;)

you may find the 1st week tough but stick with it. im on week 6 now and never thought i would last this long but im loving the diet, im not going to lie, ive had a few rough days (you may have seen me moan in a post or two :p;)) but the results more than make up for it. :D

ok thats the end of my essay :8855:

good luck hun

Hiya Sarah :)

I started Lipotrim 3 weeks ago, i wont lie the first week is really hard but i got through ot by spending about 23 hours a day on here lol It really does help when you can read about people going through the same as you. And everyone on heres great, if ya need a moan or owt theres always someone listening.
I went for my LT on a friday but didnt start till the monday after a weekend of bingeing,i weighed myself on the monday morning and in 3 weeks ive lost a stone and a half so it makes it all worth it!

As for your holiday, its totally up to you. Im doing TFR for 8 weeks then going onto slim fast for 2 weeks while im away. We're going camping so its gonna be easier for me to have ready made shakes to carry with me. BUT.....on the monday we return im back to LT for another 8 weeks then hopefully i should be where i wanna be weight wise! I wanna get to 14 stone, i know thats still overweight but i'll be happy with that i think.

Right im going on abit now lol

Good Luck Chick xx

Hey there Sarah and welcome!
LT is fantastic but tough (for the first week) but I'm sure you know that from reading through the posts! You've got around 6 weeks and may well lose a stack before your hols! Bring on the bikini!!! If it was me I'd find it nearly impossible to continue LT on hols- I know some on here have done it but it would make me miserable. Depending on how long you go for you may want to refeed and then just be sensible whilst on hols so you don't feel you're missing out. LT will always be there when you come home! Ultimately everyone is different and I'd just see how you feel nearer to the time!

Good luck...and I hope this week goes well for you!

Hiya welcome to this fab site.......its a brilliant diet if you stick to it 100%.....cant wait to hear how you do....also its up to you what you do on holiday ....maybe ask the pharmacists advice......good luck

Hi Sarah!
I'm really new to lipotrim, just finished my third day, so I can't give you all the good advice you'll get from some of the other members, but I can tell you how its been for me so far.
I weighed far more than you when I started three days ago, but I can already see a huge difference in myself. After two days, my work trousers are looser round my waist and tummy, and I'm wearing a t-shirt that was tight only a week ago (was going to take it back to the shop tomorrow but thought I would just try it!)
I have to say so far I haven't had any of the difficulties on this diet that some other people have had, but it is early days yet.
I feel fantastic, full of energy and am beginning to feel good about myself for the first time in years:) Haven't struggled with hunger, which was my biggest worry! I used to eat for Britain.:sigh:
This forum will be a godsend to you, I know it has been for me so far, and I feel as if I have made some really good friends already. We're all in the same boat here, and no one judges you if you're having an off day, they all rush to support you.
Lots of luck with the lipotrim, whatever you decide to do for your holiday will be just fine, as long as you are happy. Look forward to hearing about your successes!

Just wanted to say hi and welcome Sarah. Well done for deciding to start LT.

My first week wasn't too bad at all, it's just getting out of the habit of eating! After week 1 it all really becomes second nature I find and a lot easier. This forum really can be a lifesaver at times, so whenever you need advice or just a chat log on, someone will always be here to help out.

Good luck and I look forward to reading about your first weigh in!

Thanks for all your replies....Day 1 has arrived...here I go:)

Hi Sarah, hope your first day went well. Can get a bit difficult at times during the first few days, but by the end of the week after your weigh in, you'll be raring to go!
Good luck!
Fiona

Thanks,
Day one wasnt too bad..had a bit of a fuzzy head but I expected that after reading some posts on here...
I just seem to be wishing my life away now...roll on weigh day :)

How has day 2 been Sarah? Hope its been a good one. I was really lucky and didn't get any headaches or other problems, fingers crossed today was better for you.
Roll on your weigh in and a lovely big loss to reward all your hard work!
