Hi,

No I don't keep a diary - but from tomorrow I shall :) I do go to weekly classes but often have to miss them because my oh works odd shifts, which is a pain. I feel as of I have wasted a month of fat loss which is a bit of a bummer!
:sigh:

Oh dear i can really sympathise, picking is my problem, i am really trying hard to kick the habit but every now and then i really struggle.

I have been freezing no added sugar squash into ice lollies as they take ages to eat and are a good sweet snack whenever the nibbles arrive, that might be an option.

I have been advised to keep myself busy, but its hard when all you can think about is food! I have thought about cutting up cucumber and carrot to nibble on (not as nice though, i know)

But i think its down to good old fashioned will power, like rowkay suggested why dont you try posting a food diary and being 100% honest and perhaps plan a few days meals.

Youve done so well and are over half way, you know it works so take a deep breath and get straight back on it.

And keep us posted on your losses.
Good luck.

Many thanks for the great ideas! :)

Yeah carrots - hmmm... :)

I started a food diary on here yesterday so hopefully that will help. I am feeling a bit more positive now. I think the problem is I have lost half so feel better and so wasn't as motivated - even though I have a long way to go!

I have a festival to go to in July so that is my next motivational date - plus I am hoping a pair of Karen Millen jeans I have ordered in a smaller size will arrive today-that will help :p

I am not going to a class yet but will if I can't make it to my goal weight by september. I was so close to going up to the shop to buy my usual 3 bars of choc last night before I had even eaten dinner. so I had a lowcal hot choc which definitely worked. I think it is going to be my saviour as only 35 cals and quite delicious. i put a little full fat milk in the top (nicked from my toddler's carton) and pretend it's cream! as I am not going to the classes (yet) the money i would spend on them, I am spending on buying one of the different slimming magazines each week. i know they all say the same thing each month but i think they are helping me stay motivated as the real life stories are very good. You could try that on a week you can't get to a class. buy the RC magazine or Zest or Top Sante and quite good too. There's enough of them to get one a week in between the RC one coming out. I am going to get posting on this board daily, too. definitely didn't have 1200 class yesterday as went out for lunch and had wine on saturday too but not going to berate myself for it. it's the late night binging and weekend picking that ate my downfall and if i can get them under control eating out at the weekend shouldn't really be a problem. going to to go to a zumba class on friday. should be hilarious as i am the worst dancer!

Isn't it funny when you reach a certain goal and you start to be complacent? But we forget, that because we have been very good and stuck to the diet and exercised well, the pounds have dropped off.

Just have a clear head and get back on track, you'll soon have the pounds falling off again xx

hi freeze some grapes and when you feel the need to pick just have a couple, they take awhile to melt and are nice and sweet

Thanks for all the great advice. Complacent I most definitely became. Had a great day today so hopefully back on track. I have a festival to go to in three weeks so this is my motivation at the moment :)
