I'm a returning member of SW, having first enrolled back in 1995. I've got quite a lot to lose, but i'm really in the zone.

My goal is to return to around my target weight from 1996, and although i've got a long way to go.....nothing will stop me this time :)

Hi experienced newbie, I too have just joined slimming world. last week was my first week and aside from a very bad wedding at the weekend I food optimised all week, exercised loads and only lost a pound! Am trying to be very good this week. I lost my first lot of baby weight at SW in 2004 and am nowe trying to lose my second lot. Can't quite get my head round the extra easy plan though. how r u finding it?
 
I understand the perils a wedding can put you under. I spend 5 days eating everything that is not good for the plan, but still lost (some sort of miracle)

I'm finding the Extra Easy plan a lot better, I loved Original/Green back in the day, but never got on with Success Express, and Mix2Max, but i think that was because I was so in the mindset of Orig/Green.

My weigh in is tomorrow, so i'm hoping for a good loss, as i've been saintly (honestly!) Including a BBQ last night, when i made my own burgers, coleslaw, two quiches, and drank Diet 7-up and Black Coffee, while the football was on!
 
Well done to you! How was your coleslaw? I tried to make my own but it was disgusting. I must say I have over indulged in the wine this week but as of this morning am going to try to 100% food optimise. Best of luck for the weigh in, you must post how you have done.
 
Coleslaw was cracking.....people were thinking it had some sort of blue cheese sauce in, but it was just Cabbage, Carrot, Onion, 1tbsp of Extra Light Mayo, and 4 tbsp of Fromage Frais.....

Weigh in tomorrow, so will report back tomorrow night :)
 
I'm currently in class waiting for the queue to go down, so we can start, but just wanted to tell u all I've lost 3.5lbs, making 18.5 in the first 5 weeks. Understandably I'm chuffed to bits....so having a diet coke and quavers to celebrate!!

hi there this is my first post so not really sure wot im doin! joined slimmin world back in jan have lost 17lbs so far but have sort of lost the plot i do the extra easy plan (but have been eatin anything set in front of me lately cheesecake buns etc) any tips and ideas greatly appreciated brown eye girl
 
hi Oatibix, welcome to the site. I joined SW back in 1998 & lost 5 stone (then another one going it alone). Since having my last daughter I've stuck it all back on so like you I'm now back with SW.

Slimming world for me too... the extra easy is what it says on the box... easy! well it is if you are in the zone lol
To be honest I'm more in it than ever at the moment, really want to shift some weight for my holidays!!!
Well done on the weight losses... great work!
I started afresh on Monday so can't wait for this Monday to see how I've done. I'm doing it at home this time round, the class took ages, we were there for nearly TWO hrs. I spent half that time thinking of all the stuff I could have got done at home lol
 
Well Monday night brings weigh in.....but this time a different county! I'm currently at my girlfriends house in Bolton. But a different county, doesnt mean a different result!! 3.5 pounds lighter again this week, so 1 stone 8 pounds in total, so a lovely shiny sticker on my book for 1 1/2 stone lost! I'm chuffed to bits, so just had to share!

Just a quick update from me....i've now lost 36.5 pounds, so I have a lovely shiny 2 1/2 stone sticker on my book! I've got one more weigh in before I head away on holiday, and I intend to come back with a bit of a tan, but also lighter. I will be taking my book, some diet sheets, and I will lose on my first weigh in back, which is the 6th September :)
 
Well, i've not been on here for a while...real life just getting in the way!

So i'm happy to update my little thread with a total weight loss of 5st 3.5 lbs, making me just under 16 1/2 stone for the first time in heaven knows how long!

Going for a syn free week this week, trying to maximise on a 7 1/2 pound loss last week, and so far 3 days in, no syns what so ever! Plenty of free food to bulk up on, and hopefully the scales will be kind come Wednesday/Thursday (work depending!)
