Hello peeps! :flowers:

I've just been to Tesco's and got some Lapsang Suchong tea, never had it before, and it's rather nice! It tastes kind of smokey, like that smokeyness of BBQ sauce but quite mild too. Really enjoyed it!

Do any of you have any good recommendations for LT friendly teas? Variety is the spice of life! :D

hey fabulous Ciara (love the name!)- Ive just had my first taste of Roberts' "Oolong Tea" it was really nice- meant to aid weight loss (hmm) I also drink Jasmine tea at night, helps with sleep.

I still like my Barry's with milk and two sugars but alas since we cant have that on LT and I need something more than just water- these teas will have to do.

I am looking for a tea for the morning time that will get me started for the day- any ideas?

Ooh, dunno! I tend to put a coffee into my vanilla shake for breakfast, that does the trick for me!

I'm really into green tea and peppermint tea at the mo! Both are really lovely if you turn them into ice lollies for a treat, too.
Can't stand lapsang souchong myself, tastes like creosote to me! Just as well we're all different or life would be boring!
Never heard of that Roberts tea- where did you find it Tootiefrootie?

I know I am not on LT, but with my plan I have peppermint, oolong, nettle and java. All are lovely and refreshing and aid digestion. Peppermint is especially good for ketosis breath :)

Oooh Isis that sounds great.. I must try that one!

To be honest I found it in my cupboard I think my mam bought it a few years back- BUT Roberts is a brand in Ireland and is readily available in all good supermarkets (I sound like an advert there ;)

It is great :) It is also good to brew it with green tea if you are not keen on the taste. A tea expert told me yesterday to not put freshly boiled water on herbal tea bags. Let it cool a bit. Otherwise it burns the leaves, and tea like green tea ends up tasting burnt x

Oooh, I didn't know that about the boiling water Isis, I knew you shouldn't put it on coffee, but thought tea was OK. Will bear that in mind when making my next cuppa!

I got some lush tea yesterday - 3 Mint Tea made by Pukka. It's dead refreshing, peppermint spearmint and fieldmint. It's mintalicious!

hmmmm fabulous Ciara sounds delish where did you pick that up from?

I got it at Tesco's Tootiefrootie, my local Tesco seems to have the very best selection of herbal type teas outside of a health shop!

in the morning im going to make a hot chocolate using my shake and hot peppermint tea hoping it will taste like mint options lol

sounds nice! I made a banana shake latte with decaf coffee last night and it was yum! So I am up for trying anything lol
