A Weetabix cake recipe I tried out and need to work out the points of please:

2 Weetabix
1 cup raisins
1 cup sugar (i used sweetener but doesnt taste quite right so might just revert to sugar next time anyway, depending how many points it saves or not)
2 cups SR flour
1 cup milk

Points for the whole recipe please.

Ta muchly if you can help! :)

Would really need to know the exact measurements for the raisins, sugar etc to give you the exact pts total. The below might help you work the pts out.

weetabix 38g - 2 pts
raisins 30g - 1pt
Sugar White or caster 5g - 1/2pt
SR Flour 20g - 1pt
Milk - full fat qtr pt - 2pts
Milk - Semi Skmd qtr pt -1pt
Milk - skimmed qtr pt - 1/2 pt

hey hun,

i cup of sugar is 20pts! id use sweetner lol
your flour will be 4/5pts at a guess
raisins 3pts
milk will be about 1pt
weetabix 2pts

so 31pts for the whole cake!! lol where you get that recipe? xx

Thanks! I realised after I posted this that I'd need weights - doh. Sorry. Still getting head round this.

Have had that recipe for years, it's a nice thing to have for brekkie as a wee change or if in a hurry. And as no fat in it I thought it would prob be quite WW friendly. I did use sweetener in the last one but next time I think I'd use a bit less + a banana in it to help sweeten too instead.

So with the sweetener, divided into 6 slices it's about 1.5 pts a slice - not too bad! I will work it out more accurately next time I make it though just to make sure.

Thanks! :) xx
