Advice re alcohol please

Hi there,
Happy Friday to everyone :eek: Just need some advice re the above please. Up till a week ago I'd been low carbing for a couple of years, then decided to change over to WW and oh the joy of being able to have even porridge again lol. When low carbing I used to drink vodka and sparkling water when socialising. I was in Portugal a few weeks back and have to say their vodka measures per glass are enormous. So the question is this, now that I'm on the WW wagon and going back to Portugal in 6 weeks time, would I be better off drinking bottles of light beer, like bud lite/coors lite if I can get it instead of what sometimes looked like ( and the next day felt like) at least doubles or sometimes trebbles of vodka...I know it seems a bit crazy thinking about it already but will be going out here in the meantime and do not want to scupper my weightloss before I go and want to do least amount of "damage" when away. Thanks in advance to you if you're reading and for any helpful advice... Ps also think the sparkling water mixed with vodka has the opposite affect of what you'd think, I reckon instead of diluting the vodka it seems to carry it to my brain quicker instead :p xxx
