Hi,

What do you guys eat for breakfast?

Im asking cos I usually have either bran flakes (hexB) with a splash of milk and chopped up banana or I have a banana with a muller light.

If I have Bran Flakes Ive used up my healthy extras (I have more milk later on in the day) so have to syn anything else I might eat which would be a HEX.

Im looking for more ides that are syn free (I like to try to keep my syns for tea or an options hot choc) that dont use up HEX (B esp) so I can use these for snacks.

I like to eat a big bowl of fruit for supper so dont really want a lot of fruit for breakfast.

Thanks

How about eggs, always a good option in my house or maybe some bacon and tin tomatoes.

I to like to use my heb later in the day.

The other option is to switch to red days and allow yourself to 2 heb's.

Thanks for the reply.

Im fairly new to SW and not sure if I feel comfortable doing a red day. (I know I couldnt do green as I like my meat too much). What am I allowed to eat? what do I have to syn on red days? Is it in my book?

I like the idea of eggs (we have a load in for my salads which Ive not had as its too cold). Not a fan of tomoto's. I might have an omlette at times mmmmmmm.

Red day should be in your food optimising book.

* you can have 1 or 2 hea's and 2 heb's.

* you have to count potatoes or pasta as an heb and weigh them out weights are in your book.

Read your red day notes carefully some of the veg and carbs you may have freely on EE are not free on Red.

I follow EE mainly now with a few red thrown in, when following EE I do use my syns to have an extra heb, it still leaves me a few syns to have a treat :D not much but I can squeeze an odd biscuit, ice lolly or a few choc mikkados in.

Finding the best way to use your syns will help you feel much fuller and in control in my opinion.

Good luck

How about sausage and eggs?
Morrisons eat smart are 1/2 a syn each so really good -3 only costs you 1.5 syns!

Thanks for all your ideas I will look into them. Ive managed to figure out the red and green days allowance in my book. So I may look how I can plan my meals around a couple of days to see which I prefer.

Green day, had this for breakfast this morning and boy was it good..

2 WW Wholemeal bread Toasted (hex b)
42g Reduced Cheese (hex A)
mushrooms
onions
cheery tomato

reminded me of mini pizza

I love the idea of cheery tomatoes - do they have smiley faces on them?? I think that is a lovely name for them.

I have hard-boiled eggs and "cheery" tomatoes for breakfast, or blueberries and yogurt, or if I am in a hurry a banana as I rush out the door. In winter I have porridge.

During week I generally have Weetabix or Crunchy Bran (soften Weetabix with a tiny splash of my HEA milk) covered with a free yogurt & leave to soften while I have my 1/2 grapefruit. However, for a quick weekday savoury brekkie I have 2 free mini quiches (cottage cheese, eggs, smoky bacon, quorn sausage & seasoning) with superspeed baked beans - lush :p. Weekends I like to have the full monty dry-fry-up :p:p:p
