Struggling :-(

Don't know whats wrong with me. After starting off so well about 8 wks ago I now find myself almost completely unable to stick to the plan. Don't know why, just this past couple of wks all I seem to have done is eat junk and overeat. Really need to have a word with myself and remind myself why i started, I mean how much longer can I keep blaming my weight on the fact that I've just had my 4th baby? Really need to find some inspiration.

I don't know if this will help, i have just started a thread about this topic.

Think of it like this, we all have a bad time with it, but if you carry on falling off the wagon you will be in the same place this time next year.

If you lose even 1/2 lb a week you will be there, it may take you longer but there it is. If you do nothing at all then you will just feel the same in a year as you do now and so the evil spiral goes on.

Get back on the wagon, accept you will lapse, you are only human. The trick is accepting that the more good eating you do will outweigh the bad over the long term.

Do not throw in the towel.

Thankyou. It doesn't help that my partner seems to eat nothing but junk food and never puts on weight. Wish I was the same but I realise now that unless I change my eating habits I'm always gonna be overweight. Determined that from today I'm giving it 100%

Use me as a bad example

2006 I was 8 lbs from goal weight
2010 I was 8 Stone from goal weight

in those 4 years I'd list and gained lost and gained 12+ stones in sections
Yoyoing is what we do as we use food as an emotional crutch when we get a emotional, lifes stresses boredom , we some of us use food ....

I did VLCD Cambridge and lighterlife so was losing 3 stones each time in 9 - 10 weeks and regaing that's how I lost alot then ended up 3 stone heavier than when u started?

Try to start afresh everythings a lesson not a fail the best lessons are when we learn from them and turn them into positives like if you get to that point again where you want to blip maybe teach yourself distractions .

Mine are remembering why I started the plan, Reading, exercising, go look round the clothes shops to see what you want to wear, writing down how you feel etc

You can do thus just restart :)

sorry about any mistakes my phone has a mind if it's own xx

Thankyou for your advice. Its nice to know that if I ever need support I can just log on to this website. I'm starting afresh from today, know that I'm still gonna have bad days but determined that the next bad day I have is not gonna turn into a bad week as it has in the past.

I think it happens to the best of us!
When we first start out on any plan, we are determined, excited and willpower is at an all time high.
As time goes by, these things start to fade and if we are lucky to have a lost a little weight, we also start to feel better about ourselves and the 'urgency' to lose weight seems to fade also.
Sometimes its really hard to get back to it when this happens but I think we have to remind ourselves of why we started in the first place. Maybe make a list of those things and read it from time to time to enhance those feelings of why we are all doing this?

My biggest help is chosing filling foods... Have a healthy high fibre breakfast and you won't be starving at lunch time... This will give you time to think out your meal again chose something that is filling like soup... Have your dinner later in the evening around 7pm that way you won't be hungry before bedtime :)
