WW food scales

I've always taken my ww food scales as gospel, but this morning while weighing my oatibix it pointed 97g as 2 points while the calculator ang ww literature gives 40g 2 points. I'm somewhere between angry and panicking as I use them ALL the time and wondering how many other foods it's overpointed.

Is it just my scales or is this a common problem?

How old is it? Sounds like they need calibrating - any measuring equipment needs this regularly - do you have any instructions?

I don't think it's possible to calibrate the points. It's weighing fine, just giving huge portions low points. Never mind, i'll stick to calculating with the calculator. Are the new ones any good?

I got the new ones last night and are pointing as the book IYSWIM

Thanks Hun. Did you get them in the sale? I'm dubious about buying some new ones atm in case the sale means new ones are coming out soon. Not that they'd give out that info, just my suspicion.

yes I got the sale ones as I really wanted some but couldn't warrent spending nearly £40 on them! I think new ones will be out soon too, there is no other reason why they would be a sale otherwise lol!
