Hello all,

Well I have lost over 2.5 stone on cambridge since February but practically every other week I have cheated in some way. Since my last weigh in a week and a half ago I have cheated a few times and I just feel really down. I have a long way to go, about another 8 stones and Im bit fed up as I cant seem to get back on the diet and have lots of weddings and partys coming up. To top it all off just found out ive got chicken pox!! Im almost 20 yrs old and ive only just got chicken pox. Ive been thinking about trying a calorie counting diet again as I seem to be failing on cambridge even though when im in the swing of things I LOVE cambridge. Advice would be great, thanks my little stars x x x x

Hi honey, I am sorry you are feeling down and spotty at the moment.

I started CD last april and lost 3st3. I loved the diet but after the first inital 50days of following the diet to the letter, I started to cheat and pick at things and found some weeks I didnt loose others I did.
To cut a long story short, since july last yr I have regained 2 stone, lost it again and regained it yet again(I lost 2 stone jan-march for my wedding and have since regianed it again!)

I have now started back on CD, between aug and dec I tried WW and Rosemary Connely(both of which I had done in the past) and neither of which I cpuld stick to! I have finally come to the realisation that even if I pick/eat once or twice a week when I am supposed to be SS-ing, I am doing better diet wise than I have been by coming of CD completly and therefore not gaining the 2 stone yet again!!

Going to the CDC once a week keeps me in check, coming off completly seemed to allow me to eat whatever I liked as no one was going to be weighing me! Knowing that I am going to CDC I drink alot more water and have really good days.....so I would reccomend that you continue to do CD,maybe go up to 790 for a while to change the mundane routine and then get back to ss-ing when you feel ready.

In my own exprience I would say keep on at it....I know its hard at times and sometimes we all want to throw in the towel, but the rewards of sticking to it are so worth it!!

hugs Lou X
