Loves Life!
Not sure if anyone has posted about this, so apologies if already discussed...I dont come on here at the weekends very often!

Anyway, the wonderful Asda wholemeal pitta breads are back..well in my store they are after having stickys to say discontinued! Happy Buying!

Mmmm...pitta bread. Can we use this as a healthy extra then?

Yay are they still a HeB?? x

Im assuming that they are still a HeB...will have a look!

They better be lol I loved them!!!

Right...just checked on SW website and they are still a HeB!!!! :D

For 1 pitta? x

Yes...1 pitta from the 6 pack...they are quite large.

Brilliant! Thank you!! Will pop them on my shopping list. I hope our Asda have them!

Lol definitely worth the trip to stock up Hun...and just think when little one is old enough he can have them toasted too! My Daughter loves them!

im going to have to buy these pittas now as you all have such a lot to say about them and i do love a nice chicken kebab :D will they be the only asda brand wholemeal pitta? i dont want to arrive and have a choice of a couple without knowing which 1 to go for? x

Bleh! They didn't have them in stock at our ASDA. It's a massive shop, too! Sadness.

I'll be trying these to. What do you guys put in them? Looking for ideas please.

They make good pizza bases too!! I made a pizza using cheese (hea), passata, mushrooms, onions and bacon...YUMMM

Tracey - You could make yourself up a mini nandos chicken breast pitta! The sauce is only 0.5 syns (per tbsp I think). It goes so far though that I barely use a tsp!

Mine showed the discontinued sticker for ages and then all of a sudden they came back!

I love filling mine with ham salad, bacon, eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes, or tuna and mayo, or tandoori chicken and salad, or homemade burgers and salad..the options are endless!
