Target member support

Hiya, I'm Becki, 21 from County Durham... I got to target on May 4th 2010 and am maintaining within this range, however I am finding it pretty difficult.. I am 5ft 3 btw, short lol.

I have lost 4st in 9 months.

Here are my before photos:
13st 5lb, size 16/18

I'm here to make friends and to get some support because being at target is much more difficult than losing the weight in the first place believe it or not!

wow...well done, you look amazing. lovely looking before losing weight but a right stunner now :D there ought to be a section on here for target members if there isnt already? would be great for you to discuss things with other maintainers as well as with us losers. PIERCE!!!
 
Wow - you look amazing honey!!

What is it that is making it difficult?? I haven't taken target yet but am considering doing so as I very pleased with my current size.

We have loads of target members so I am sure if they know the problem they will help you out though x
 
I do believe it hun! I have been at target for almost 2 years (my target is 10 stone) and I find it very very hard!

You look amazing - very well done. We are all here to help :)
 
Thank you everyone :) so sweet of you all to say, well I've only been at target for about 5 weeks, the first week I gained 2.5lb which took up me to 9st 7 grrr, so second week I made a pact to myself to get that off and ended up losing 4.5lb taking me to 9st 2.5 then the gained 1lb in two weeks.. I've got weigh in 2nite and just HOPE to god I have stayed the same lol..

A proper thread for target members would be wonderful because this is the biggest challenge of my life! haha

Thank you for the compliments :) they're really appreciated, my Consultant is going to put me in the local paper and she wants me to get into the mag lol
 
Hi Becki, I think I've spoken to you on the Facebook group before! (I think I recognise you from your pic) Well done for finally getting to target! :) I got to target on 29th April :) So done jsut over a month. I've found it very hard too, I've never gained, but I've lost or STS and last week I lost 2.5lb which took me out of target :(

Ah darling don't worry, you can get back to where you want to be! I know you can - it's just really hard isn't it? I feel like losing more but that would be a mistake.. my doctor last Monday told me I'm "very thin" I think she thought I was fragile or summit lmao!

I hope it gets easier! I had been hovering at target -1, and was umming and ahhing about losing 3 extra pounds to make it a nice round 3 stone loss, then decided against it, then bang I go and lose that!! But I really don't think i should lose anymore now. I ave a wardrobe full of size 10 clothes that are starting to fall of me!! I've accepted you, add me on FB too if you like (I'm always on there too - click the icon under my username :))

I just don't know how to put on weight, I don't want to go too mad because I'm worried I'll slip back into old habits... *sigh* so hard. Really hoping you STS at weigh in tonight, gotta find the balance.... I haven't managed it yet!

I reached target just before Christmas and I find it very, very hard maintaining.
For me, my body just want to keep on losing!
Currently, I am exactly 3 pounds below target. Our group will be getting computerised this week and I was told if I lose anything at all this week I will have to pay again!
I, for once, am weighing constantly and if I even lose half a pound this week I will wear a heavy jumper for WI!
I really did not believe it would be so difficult to maintain!
 
LOL sonia maybe I should turn up in jeans to WI, that'll make me put on a bit :) I don't know if I'll be able to change my target again if I decide I'm happy here. It was orginally set to 9st7, then was changed to 9st5.5, because I had a big loss that week, so my C changed it for me, but will I have to change it to be 7lb lower? I don't want to go that low :(
 
Camille, I know how you feel.. I don't want to be smaller than an 8 lol, some of my tops are a bit baggy but it's only cuz I haven't got a chest rofl.. I know how to gain ;) on WI have some mashed before a couple hours before you go lol you'll gain half a pound at least (I am speaking from experience unfortunately ha).. Thank you princess :D I hope I maintain too! Ha, it's not easy but I ain't going back to fat! I'd rather keep losing if my body is gonna be a fussy git

Thank you :) one woman at my group keeps losing too but she's poorly - I really hope you aren't - it might be one of them things.. HOW THE HELL DO YOU MAINTAIN??? lol! I need to know, I did it twice before by ACCIDENT lmao - this is frustrating for me and you by the looks :( I know it's sad, our body should know we don't want to lose anymore... :(
 
Hi, I'm another target struggler! I got to target on 21st April at 10 stones 13.5lbs (wanted to get to 11 stones) and since then I have lost every week and now weigh 10 stones 7.5lbs. I'm lucky that my weigh lady lets me reset my target so I don't have to pay, but I don't actually want to lose any more! It was nice to get my 4 stone sticker last week though!

My problem is that I lost weight every single week - no gains or STS, so it's all I know how to do. I'm finding it hard to get the right balance of healthy extras to maintain, or some weeks I'll go off-plan for the weekend and then be 'good' the rest of the week - but still lose!!
 
Well done on your 4st award :) I honestly would love a 4 and half stone sticker but that's taking the mick I bet lol

Are you exercising or upping your syns to help you STS?? I remember the first time I maintained, was brill had a weekend away with my boyfriend and ate a fair bit of crap, wouldn't be able to now lol! I seem to gain easily :S

Am reading this thread with interest. I'm hoping to hit target this week (well according to my scales which have always given me the same result as the SW one).
I'm guessing that maintaining is hard - oh joy!!!!

I absolutely know that feeling...
My very initial target was 9 stone, and the halfway through I thought it was unrealistic so changed it to 9st7, which I reached in December then 9st2.5, then 9 stone! At the moment I am 8st11 but had at one point dropped to 8st9.5.
Going computerised from this week, I believe they can't close their eyes any longer! I think I may be ok this week as I ate bread and that ALWAYS makes me put on, but we shall see.....else it will be jeans, jumper and boots next time!
I could re target to 8st7 but I think that is too low for me, and in the long term not maintainable.

I'm going on past experience :wave_cry:. This is the 3rd time now, that I've lost this amount of weight - I've lost the weight fine (hope, I'm not tempting fate here, but I've lost every single week), but I tend to quickly revert back to old habits - its the reason why I joined SW (I've done it on my own in the past).
Anyway, you're right, but at least I know where I can shout!!!
