Hi,

I'm on sole source and it's going OK, apart from the constant burning and sickly feelings in my stomach.
I know it's because there is no food in there, but can we take antacids to help relieve the discomfort?

I know the flavoured variety contain glucose so that's a no no, but does anyone know if that is the same for the plain ones also?

Thanks

In the usual way, these tablets are okay. Keep to the plain ones, but it's best to phone your CWPC and get them to contact Cambridge medical.

Hope you get some relief shortly.

Rennies etc all make sugar-free versions (aimed at diabetic market - most medicines come in a sugar-free version for diabetics) but sometimes you have to ask the chemist for them as they might keep them behind the counter. Boots usually have them out on the shelves though. The ordinary mint ones all have sugar. Rennie sugar-free tastes fine.

Thank you guys.

just watch the fruit flavoured ones, sugar free included as some contain citric acid, i found that out after being kicked out of ketosis after a bad reflux night, lol

my CDC said that Gaviscon was OK
