Its not even been a week...

Oh no, what's up? Hungry? :( Believe me, the first week is the hardest, it really will get easier for you.

Don't give up - you can do it!
I've felt like giving up several times, but I can honestly say that now I'm about 6-8 weeks in, I do feel different. I can tell a bit of a difference in my body which is motivating, and I also don't crave the things that I did before. But at first it was REALLY hard to not want a pizza at the weekend, or crisps in the evening, or chocolate when I went to the supermarket. But it does get better.

My BMI was about the same as yours when i started, and it has gone down a bit now - and I'm not really losing very quickly at all. Stick with it, and I'm sure you'll see some results soon that will motivate you.

Hope you're feeling better this morning. :)

I've just completed my first week and I lost confidence a couple of times on the way because I'd eaten stuff I wish I hadn't but I made it to weigh in and lost so I've got my first boost of positivity.

Perhaps you could share whats made you feel fed up?

I know exactly how you feel... fell off the wagon last month & am struggling to get back on track again. Need to get my head back in the zone!

Good luck & I'm sure you can do this. xx

Don't give up, it's just a blip, just have a moment to think of the new slim you that you want to be and start today afresh. I nearly gave up last night but then i looked in the mirror and i'm back on the wagon this morning. Good luck and we're always here for support xx

What are you struggling the most with? Maybe people on here can give you some pointers to make it easier?

I see from your signature you have a horse and from what you wrote you want to lose weight to make it easier on her? I've got horses, 15 of them and one of them is loaned to a friend of mine, she lost two and a half stone and Ive got a video of them before and after and it was amazing, the mares paces improved, she really moves from the shoulder more now and her attitude got better. I presume because she finds it easier to carry my friend now, Im sure you would notice a similar change in your mare :)

One of my stallions recently came home after being on lease and the max weight I will have on him is 10 stone, so I cant ride him but since I started my diet and really stuck to it, the weight is falling off, if it stays coming off at this rate, I could be ready to ride him for the next showing season.

Give yourself some goals and treat yourself when you hit them, just think, you could go buy yourself a whole load of new jods and joules stuff... I dont know about you but joules stuff wont fit me yet hehe.

You can do it!

An hour of poo picking or mucking out burns 200cals so get doing some extra of that as well, it all helps.

I agree with the others. Why are you struggling? Is it hunger or boredom?
I'm a boredom eater, so I've set myself a list of things to do to keep myself busy and bought an epic bag of rasins that I can munch on when I'm doing the whole 'peckish whilst watching tv' thing.
Just keep posting on here, I'm only a newbie but I'm finding it really helpful! So many tips and inspirational stories.

I hope that you start feeling better, everyone falls off the wagon every now n then, you just have to be sure to clamber back on when you're done.
Best wishes x

Thanks guys... hunger, boredom, feeling a failure, not being 100% sure of what i am doing :( Feeling more positive today.. But i don't think I will be seeing a loss tomorrow :(

I love my little mare... I need to do this for her as I want to do working hunter classes with her and start doing more with her but right now I just can't with my weight :(

Are you going to weight watcher meetings or doing it yourself? If you go to the meetings have a word with the person who runs it so they can get you on the right track.

Im sure you will have lost, but even staying the same is better then a gain! And sometimes it takes a little while to get into the swing of a new diet, just stick at it and the weight will come off.

How did your weigh in go?

See you can do it! Well done! Thats great. Im sure your find the diet easier as you get more used to it as well.

Well done! :D

wow well done! for someone that thought they were not going to lose anything and then 3.5 lbs!!! congratulations:) mad how the mind plays tricks on you:)
