Instant mash - syn value?

I know a lot of people think it is gross but this is one of my comfort foods.

I have been using Saisburys own instant mash, there are three sachets in it and it is absolutely lovely (in my opinion).

Does anyone know if it is syn free as it tastes so nice and creamy?

Thank you. Sainsburys is definitely the best version of IM I have ever tasted. Definitely worth a try in my opinion. :)

I have to agree Flabulous, but I thought I would also give Tesco's value mash a chance the other day and I was very impressed. I did have to season it and add some all seasoning but it was really good. For plain mash I would use Sainsburys though.

Instant Mash

I love Sainsbury's instant mash, it tastes creamy and you don't need to add any salt to it as it already tastes like there is salt and butter in it. I sometimes add dried herbs to it, lovely ;)

Smash is bogof in Tescos at the mo too :) (or at was in my local 2 days ago!) xx

Hi there, Im new to this site so apologies if I'm not doing this right!! I've just started slimming world and read that the sainsburys mash was syn free on a green day !! After eating a whole packet I realised that it has cream powder in it . Is it definitely free? I checked the ingredients in smash and it doesn't have cream powder in it! I so hope it is free or I've had a really bad day,! Thanks in advance

According to syns online it's free if made up with water. Although you may be better off posting nutritional values and getting someone to check for you as cream powder sounds like it may hav possible syns to me. Hope this helps :)
