And happy :)

Annoying delay over the weekend...original chemist had no pharmacist to initiate the programme so had to wait for today :(

But...back on - and it's great. Ok so the water is a bit much but apart from that I can deal with it. Don't like the peppermint tea with the chocolate but that might change over the course of the week.

Good luck to everyone on here, those who have started this week and those who have already started.

Absolutely freezing though! Never Mind!

Oh PS. Saw the most wonderful pharmacist today, he was so amazing and he was saying that BMI doesnt really make so much sense. Especially with varying body shapes. For example like me if you're broad then if your weight goes too low you'll look sick.
He actually told me to forget getting in to the green because he doesn't feel it would be healthy for me. Just to aim for overweight...though my height and my frame with an ideal weight i would look disturbing hahah.( After losing 3 stone last time and dropping nearly 3 dress sizes i quite agree - my boobs stayed the same cup size!!) I know many survive on BMI but it just proves that really if you don't get to the 'healthy' weight it doesnt automatically mean you are going to die!!!

Good for you that you're back on LT. I'm a restarter too as you know, so you know what to expect now. Just keep glugging that water and stay positive and that weight will drop off.

I agree about the BMI though. If I got down to a very healthy BMI I would look skeletal! I was very happy to be in the overweight category last year and looked so much healthier.

Good luck on your journey, I know you can do this again!

PS. What happened about my job offer from you then? Free dinners I believe the offer was!

Hi Mini B,

Yeah it's gonna be better this time. I'm aiming to get down to 11 stone if not a bit less. But I was looking to lose 7 stone before I went to the pharmacist. I think it makes me realise that I can lose the 5 and a bit stone to get to the overweight category rather than drag myself to 7 stone. I think its realistic. I think there is a flaw in how BMI is calculated too. We aren't all the same shape!!

I'm happy you're here you were so supportive last time. Hopefully I can be of as much help to you as you were to me if you ever need it :)

God the job offer....I recall a mentioning of it I just don't remember what it was :) I think it was to do with Law, I ended up doing a English literature degree instead through clearing but tbh I don't find university life for me. I love living away from home and being independent but it just doesn't seem to fit in to how I am. (Being a bit more mature than others too I feel.)
So with my 4 months off I'm searching around for other options. I applied for a law firm as a trainee legal secretary to get a foot in the door but had no luck!

Hows life been keeping you this last year? Well I hope. I know WE can do this, this time. xxx

The job offer was to be YOUR legal secretary! That's the type of business I'm still in.

Life has been good the past year, except for the weight gain again. Had a great holiday last year and the weight went downhill when we returned.

I think I've learned from my mistakes last time and hope I can use them to cope better this time. We did this diet last time and know that we can do it again.

Nice to see some familiar faces on here as well as all the new ones.

Good luck on sorting out your work life, I hope you get what you want and if uni life isn't for you, then it isn't for you. You will work out what you want to do and I know you will do it.

Good luck with your restart, there are a few of us in the same boat but we can all encourage each other, it is nice to see some old faces. Glad you had a good day. Day 1 was good for me too.
