A much happier Kitty

Dietkitty

Rebel without a calorie
It's day 7 and I have weighed in........
10lbs off :bliss:
Still go a bit of a headache but nothing like as bad as yesterday.
I can't stomach the soups so am going to stick with bars and shakes. I think some of the problem yesterday was because I was stressing all day about the soup! It's really unusual for me as I normally prefer savoury food.
Thanks to everyone for the support. I really think I would have caved yesterday if it hadn't been for this forum :)

That's a brilliant start, well done! :D

The thing I like about Exante is that it is fairly flexible and as long as you follow the basic rule of 3-4 packs a day it doesn't really matter how you have them, you can fit it around your own tastes.

Incidentally don't forget that there are other options out there too though. Following Miss D's lead and trying to even out the products I had left, as you know I have recently ordered myself some dietimeal stuff from Avidlite. The meals are about the same cals and nutritional composition as an Exante soup and I have found that so far they make a nice change every now and again. Not megabucks either. It may be a bit early in your plan for you to be looking at chopping and changing suppliers but at the end of the day it's worth looking at all the options if you are in this for the long haul.

Well done! My first week will be up on Sunday,if I'm anywhere near what you have lost I will be thrilled!

Am totally with you on the soups! Tried a mushroom one last night and like you dreaded the soup all day!
Have decided to buy a months pack of shakes and a box of bars. Just hope I don't get too bored doing just shakes!

Keep it up and the best of luck xx

Try using less water in the shake Sandy and make it into a mousse that you can eat with a spoon.
I've also been told if you add 2 desertspoons of water to a shake, put in a ramekin and micro for 1 minute it comes out like a muffin. I'll be trying that tonight :)

i really like the soup so far well only had one so far! lol but can't wait for my one for dinner later! i am dreading the banana shake as i hate banana!

Kitty, what a fabulous weight loss, well done you for perservering especially with the headaches :)

Well done Kitty, that's a great loss. I've loved all the products but went off the pink soup and Thai chicken towards the end. Loved the shakes made with less water, ice cold and whizzed up with a good blender to the consistency of a mousse.

Keep up going down!

Ten pounds!!! Absolutely brilliant. Especially well done considering you were struggling yesterday. You're beating me by a pound! Though that may be 2lbs as I appear to have gained a pound since yesterday. Yikes! Going to have to give myself a stern talking to not to weigh every day. But it is tempting at the beginning when you can see the scales move almost daily.

Incidentally I can vouch for the muffins being gorgeous. They are the only way I have the shakes - can't stomach anything milky. They are my staple breakfast - either chocolate, banana or coffee (which is the vanilla shake with coffee granules and a bit of splenda added) muffins and are possibly my favourite meal of the day. Gave the strawberry shakes to my OH. For some reason didn't fancy strawberry muffins. Though who knows - they might have been lovely!

Thanks dietkitty! Will try it later xx

I've just tried it and it needs a little more water than I've said. Just add till it's a cake mixture consistency. I also found it needed 1 and a half minutes in the micro.
It was really nice though. I had chocolate and it was just like a (slightly flat) muffin :)
