another weigh in and another 3.5lbs off :) really pleased and heres to the next one. it seems to be falling off and i couldnt be happier. i def think all the exercise is helping though. im currently running 2 1/2 miles x 3 a week, plus cycling, and walking the dog :) next week its up to 3 miles and im really surprised how quickly its built up. again another mind over matter thing like dieting :)

Yeah....not too bad......though I did LT about 4 yrs ago so know what to expect......still waiting for my energy burst....think it was about the end of week 2 .....lol...

I think its a little harder second time round......what do you think.....even though I am determined I seem to waiver now and then but am being good.....lol.

totally agree again. i suppose cause we know what to expect this time its much less of a novelty and i find, needs much more mind searching than before. mine this time is a combination of obviously wanting to do it for myself but also cause theres lots going on this year with the kids (ones18,ones 16 so parties to organise etc) our holiday plus a few other reasons but generally i think cause im just pig sick of feeling sorry for myself lol

Well done on the loss Harriet.

Totally agree with you and Sonya though, second time rounds does seem very different to the first time. I don't seem to be as enthusiastic about it this time. I'm still determined and glad I'm doing it. Think like you said, the novelty seems to have worn off.

Well done Harriet, that's great!

Im so jealous of your running, I cant run at all!

thanks! tell u what i used to hate running then i did the race for life a couple years running (!) and i caught the bug. i thought id aim higher this year so for a birthday pressie got my OH to sign me up for the great south run then i knew i couldnt back out cause im doing it for charity in memory of my dad who passed away 8 years ago in june after a succession of strokes. this is for him and for me cause :) its built up surprisingly easy but i have to say, that i can only run successfully doing this diet if ive just had a shake. if ive left it a while, i just dont have the energy :). i think thats partly why ive decided to finish lt after about 10 week so i can get refeeding then lose the rest but up my runs so ive more energy to run more miles...a shame but cant do it any other way i dont think.

anyway yeah, give it a go sometime, you might like it. i wont pretend it isnt difficult some days but then what worthwhile thing isnt? x
