Hi..
just a question..does anybody know why there are no high protein meal packs..like the spag/bol from avidlite which is low carb and high protein used on the atkins/ketosis diets etc? Also whats the diff between the atkins porridges and cd ones..as far as i can see they have approx same carbs/prots/fats..just alot cheaper than cd ;)

Possibly because Cambridge isn't a high protein diet. Perhaps Cambridge will do their own ones if demand arises. They have in the past with a pasta meal for the higher plans, but most people prefered the shakes. Who knows what they will bring us next :)

I have never seen the atkins porridge. Very surprised that it has the same carbs in it though as Atkins is usually lower carb that Cambridge. Wonder if you could pm me that macros for this?

But anyway, the atkins meal replacements are not total meal replacements, and most serious Atkiners avoid them owing to the hidden carbs and weight loss stalls, and they are not usually formulated to have the correct vits, minerals, and macros to replace all meals.

Remember Atkins is a completely different diet with very different results. Not knocking it. It's just different, like WW is different to slimming world.

I have never seen an Avidlite product with exactly the same vits, minerals, carbs, fats, protein and advertised as a total meal replacement. Oh and with the back up research to confirm this. I've heard people have been told some of their products are total replacement meals when they haven't been.

They may do some. It's hard to find all the info, but again it's a different diet.

If it suits you best and you are fully confident that it's safe (again, hard to find the info and research for these products), then do Advilite. I would avoid mixing the two.

Hope that helps :)
