Hi
For those who remember me i lost 7 stone on LL getting on for nearly two years ago now. Through online food diaries (1600 is what i try to stick to) and a fairly punishing gym class schedule of everday I have managed to stay more or less in the zone, have put a little weight on, but all clothes from lowest weight still fit (apart from one pair of jeans!)

Anyway just thought id log in as im at home recovering from my tummy tuck.Early days yet but doing ok i think so far not sure what resultsa will be like but guess it cant be a lot worse in the long run!

well done you!
hope it makes a big difference for you, i would love one, but am not brave enough! Did you get it on nhs?
hope you make a good speedy recovery

PS was it you who was in the magazine? sorry, its been a while since you were on!

yes guilty that was me! In the jeans style story. Yes my op was on NHS, so far not too bad pain wise but as i understand it i didnt end up having any muscle repair(due to gym work) and its the muscle repair that hurts more so ive heard. Not sure what I think of that as have had three pregnancies so would have thought i needed repair but not according to surgeon...we will see what the results look like as I go along i guess!

I went to see my GP to see if it was possible to get a tuck on the NHS and he said not, until I said I had health cover then he refereed me, however my health cover will not cover it as it sees it as cosmetic, so I feel a little lost! How did you get one?

Hope your recovery goes smoothly, and well done on maintain for so long.

Post code lottery ? Not sure really. I just showed my baggy stomach, I didnt pretend it was depressing me or stopping me doing other things as obviously in the scheme of lifes challenges a horrid tummy is fairly minor. But i was lucky and the pct approved it probably took a year half + from dr appointment to op. Good luck
