Hi there

If you have a look at Ellebear's Food Diary above she does mostly Red Days. Hope that helps and EB doesn't mind X

I always snack on fruit during the day. I usually save a hexb for my supper, which is either 2 wholemeal toast, ryvita & cheese, ryvita & quark mixed with fruit, 2 Alpen Lights.

Just to give you an idea of how my daily food intake goes:-
7:30am breakfast
10:30am fruit
12:30 lunch
3:00pm fruit
6:00pm tea
9:00pm supper

:)

When I'm on red I usually cook:

Homemade meatballs or burgers (HExB for pasta or a small roll)

Chicken (so many things to do with that! My favourite is garlic quark stuffed in to a chicken breast, wrapped in bacon or bbq chicken on a j potato (HExB) or chicken salad or chicken dinner...)

I always have a packet of ham in the fridge to snack on (stuff a few slices in my gob while I'm cooking to stop me picking at other things!)

Packets of cooked meat. Bernard Matthews have now got packs of tikka turkey for £1 which are nice.

Bacon. I usually have bacon and eggs for breakfast when I'm not in work. Sometimes add a syn-free or low syn sausage.

I like red days! They're just a bit expensive.

I mainly do red days, I seem to get a better weight loss, as above really, lots to do with chicken, also gammon steaks, salmon, friday night is curry night so I do and EE day.

Snacks - 3 or 4 pieces of fruit a day and crabsticks just to take the edge off any hunger.

Red days are limited I think, EE days are much easier. But steak, and salad always goes down well. You can always make a Free Curry, kind of a balti style, so no need for rice and have ww pitta bread with it instead of naan bread.

I'm into pears at the moment and berries, speed losses too. xx

I mainly do red day, and for snacking I have things like crab stick, king prawns (the big juicy ones!) ryvita crispbreads (HEB) with extra light laughing cow cheese (HEA) on and some thinly sliced lean ham and tomatoes, red onion and lettuce piled ontop (nomnom!)
celery sticks filled with extra light lc cheese traingles with a sprnkling of smoked paprika ontop (i find milions of uses for these cheesy beasts!)
crispbreads topped with cottage cheese, and fresh pineapple! def yum!

I also buy joes sausages and cook them up , slice them, put in a tupperware box and then nibble on these through the day - they are so tasty it really makes me feel im having a treat!
Hope this helps! xxx

ElleBear does do her food diary every day and shes a big fan of reds so like Big Bear suggests, id take a look at that! I often pinch ideas from it!!! ( i know she doesnt mind as shes lovely! haha)

Good luck!
xxx

Packed ham is great to have in the fridge for red day snacks, I just eat a slice whenever I'm hungry. Or put some on a wholegrain crackerbread (1 syn) with loads of FF cottage cheese. I also cook up some bacon medallions and put them in the fridge to snack on if needed.

For breakfast its either cereal using HE choices or bacon/ham and eggs. My fave lunches are chicken & bacon salad, tuna salad, prawn salad or if I'm fed up of salad I put them all in a HE wholemeal roll. Favourite dinners here include steak & salad, mince lasagne (using sliced aubergine instead of pasta sheets), beef/chicken/pork stirfrys and roast dinners where instead of potatoes I have mashed cauliflower/brocolli with some laughing cow light mixed into it (HEA) or some roasted butternut squash. Oh and homemade burgers using your HE's for a wholemeal roll and some cheese. Am hungry now just typing all that:8855:

**aww i am totally feeling the love on this thread off my fellow bears!!! thanks BB and CB! **

hello Phil!

I am a total Red day SW addict....i do have the occasional EE day, but mainly stick with the red days - i do love my chicken and steaks and therefore it works much better for me!!! I also have great losses on Red, i think everyone is different but i find if i have to many carbs the weight sticks to me!

I tend to have quite a SW quiche at lunchtimes, this is made with fat free cottage cheese (300g) and 3 eggs - all whizzed together with a handblender. I add mushrooms and bacon and chicken to it and it makes a great syn free snack.

I also eat a lot of fruit and sometimes fat free yoghurts like Mullerlights, Shape Zero & Activia.

I think Red is best!!! haha!

As people have said please feel free to look at my food diary, it might give you some ideas - i always post photos and my fave meals are my recent Lamb Rogan Josh and KFC style chicken - both were delicious! x
