Feel like quitting

I'm really struggling this week with the diet. I want carbs big time.
I feel like I want to come off the diet and live/eat/drink normally again.

Did any of you feel the same?
How did you pull yourself out of this stage?

Hi hun, I remember feeling like that during take 1, but I told myself that once I got the weight off I would get my life back and be happier! Anf when I got that weight off and dropped over 2 stones and 2 dress sizes all the carb deprivation was well worth it!! Now Im back for take 2 as I got the original weight off and was living life when I realised I would like to be a little bit more lighter!!

I got through 8 weeks SSing 100% by thinking that I ate myself to oblivion for 5 years what is 8/12 weeks out of my life to get thinner/healthier??

I ticked each 100% day off my calender and felt good having a visual representation of how well I had done!!

Good luck, sorry for babbling! xx

10 weeks in I needed a break - I had one (a very long 3 week break!) But now I wish I hadn't. I've not put on any weight but I haven't lost the stone that I should of done.

What plan are you on Lyndzy?

Been doing ss & ss+.
Feeling really naff, but I know I should keep on with it as only 7 days until I'm off the plan for a week as its my 25th birthday and my husbands 30th.

Okay. 810 for this week. You should be on that anyway (at least) for your BMI. It really is best.

No talk like some people do of "but SS/SS+ will be quicker:cry:" or "but it's only for a week". Just do it. Ready for your week off. It's right for your body, right for your head and will ease you into your week off.

Enjoy. Body wants some carbs now ;)

If I ask my CDC if I can move up to 810 will she let me??
So I would be on 810 for 6 days (as I see my CDC on Saturday) and the off CD plan for 1 week then back on to SS, think I got that right. Thanks KD x

She should do, in fact she should be insisting on it ;)

BMI25 is the line for moving up to 810, and you shouldn't do any lower as you need more protein.

If you have a week off, you should really go back to 810 after rather than SS. It really is better. Truly.

Sorry for being slow...my bmi is 32 does the 810 plan still apply.

Ah no, sorry. My mistake, was looking at your ticker and read the pounds lost as BMI. Whoops. Ignore me now :D

And yes, you get days and even a whole of week where it just seems harder and you crave those carbs. I usually found it happened just before a bigger loss. Probably a scientific reason for that aswell.

Keep focused on the positives. Remembering what you are getting out of this rather than what your not getting. And also remember, it's all a choice. At the moment, for you, you want to be slimmer more than you want carbs. Remember that and why that is more important to you and it'll get easier.

That's true, I have never been slim so I can not wait.
I think I'm feeling like this because I feel so much more confident now and my body shape has really changed.
I know it should make me more determine but I'm actually liking myself again now.

HOw are you feeling today hun?
I've been feeling similar but just telling myself that this is so going to be worth it in the end!!!
Keep going this week then enjoy your time off for your birthday.

oh chick!!! dont feel low, like kd says have 810 day. i did on monday this week and it was fab. also, i had a MAJOR wobble in week 7/8 and i actually think its very common as youve been doing it a long time and your body probably needs a bit of a break or boost. good luck.

hey ... dont beat yourself up over it, you have come this far. The biggest thing is to make sure you congratulate youself on how far you have come.

I know my situation is not the same but I tell you I craved pizza so bad in the first couple of weeks of doing CD ... I dont even like pizza that much but I think it was the fact mentally I knew I couldnt have any carbs, and bread - the smell ...drives me potty mmm.
