Salsa Dip:
Ingredients:
2 White Onions
1 Red Onion
1/2 Red Pepper
1/2 Green Pepper
1lb Mixed Tomatoes
1 or 2 Chilli Peppers ( depending on how spicy you like it )
100ml Tomatoe Passatta
100ml Vinegar ( Cider or Whit Wine )
Sweetner to taste add gradually and taste test
1 Tbls Mint Sauce
Method:
Roughly chop the onions peppers Chillies and tomatoes.
Place in bowl add passatta and vinegar gradually add in the sweetner testing as you go
Finaly add the mint sauce ( this removes the vinegary taste
SweetCorn Relish.
Ingredients:
450g Sweetcorn ( tinned or frozen )
1 Chilli Pepper
1/2 Green Pepper
1/2 Orange Pepper
3 White onions
50ml red wine vinegar
50ml white wine vinegar
100ml cider vinegar
Sweetner
1 Tbls Mint Sauce
Method:
Chop onions, peppers and chilli
Sweat in pan until soft
Add vinegars
Add corn
Simmer untill it reduces but maintain liquidity
Add Mint Sauce
Add sweetner to taste as before
Garlic Dip.
Ingredients:
1/2 tub quark
1 1/2 Tbls of easy garlic
3 or 4 basil leaves roughly chopped or ripped
3-4 Tbls of vlf Fromage frais
1/2 onion finely chopped
sweetner to taste
Method:
mix quark, garlic, basil, onion
Add Fromage frais
Add sweetner to taste.
All of the above items are SYN FREE great with sw crisps or ww tortilla chips ( 3.5 syns per packet ) we know sw say that crisps are food abuse well that is a matter of oppinion and not one that we share.
