My journey Progress chart

Becca Wecca

skinny minny here I come!
Does anyone use the slimming world "My journey progress chart"??

I just entered my new weight...

Because I've put on 2lbs, it estimates I will reach target november NEXT year!! last week it estimated it at december this year!! Go figure!! 2lbs does make a big difference after all!!!!

I never knew it was there! I've just filled mine in & it says target will be this December. Yay!!!!

it is assuming you will keep putting weight on. Once you loose again next week it will alter. It happened to me. Thing is is really upsetting I;m suprised it does that.
Maypole have you entered your target weight?

I can's see where you enter your target weight. I just saw the date where I would be where I want to be. How do you add your target weight to it?

It's ok, I found it :) For anyone else looking, over to the left - Set P.A.T. It says I'll get there 22/11/10, which is earlier than I thought. Would be nice if I did get there then!

I love the fact it shows how much time time till target its a real motivator to stick to plan, I miss trying to beat it now I'm at target.

I've found the same - a 1lb gain seems to add months to the predicted journey - loose 2lb the following week though and you're suddenly ahead of where you were.

Have to say though - that expected date has never been accurate yet for me - i've always managed to get to the different PAT levels that i've set along the way a fortnight (or more) ahead of schedule.

What i have also done to help though - is produce myself a spreadsheet that calculates how much i've lost, how much i have to loose to get to whatever target i've picked, and with setting myself a date I'd like to get to that target - it also tells me how much more each week to that date i have to go to get there. (I've also added columns as to how much i've lost in terms of percentage to target and also in relation to my start weight - just for fun (plus my next mini target is to be half the man i used to be - so need that last column there to tell me).

go to my progress page. towards the top on the left is you can click to alter your target weight(or pat as they call it on the linked page)

crossed psts there. On the graph click on target weight box.It may not show immediately so click on to a previous page of your progress eg lasts weeks . Go back to the original graph and it should show a apurple line to show your target. Repeat process with predicted progress box and it should show up.

Just scrolled along the chart and found my predicted date is 5 September 2011.

This could be a long journey.:D

It doesn't give a date just shows the blue line dropping downing if that right?

Yes that's right, at the bottom you will see some >> marks if you scroll along until the blue line hits your target line that will tell you your predicted date (wouldn't take too much notice of it though, it seems to change with the wind!)

keep scrolling to the right (should be an arrow there if i recall) - you'll see the blue line continue downwards before hitting a horizontal line (that horizontal line will be your PAT if you've set it right). If you're seeing on the vertical scale the weight you've set as your PAT and no horizontal line then go in and reset the PAT.

.

Oh ok was looking for the date written down somewhere not on the graph :sign0007:

Oh I am blonde by the way!!!

As a very slow loser, I remember the day my predicted line was actually horizontal. No target date at all, ever, never.

Now that *was* depressing :sigh:
