Hi everyone

Well, my sister has now reached her target weight at sw. We went to WI this morning, and she is delighted to have reached her target. :DOur consultant is fab, and gave her loads of praise for reaching target etc but didnt actually tell her how to maintain. Does she need to do anything different now, she follows Extra easy, but does she have more healthy extras etc? Thanks for any advice anyone can offer, she just a bit confused!

My C told me to increase my 'b' choices to maintain. I'm trying 1 more per day, but so far have continued to lose! It's scary, trying to maintain!

Please let me know if you find the secret - i'm hitting target in 7lbs time and already am scared about having to maintain. after 18months of loosing - changing that mindset to "maintain" isn't going to be easy...

Hope you work it out though.

That's the thing Ian. I lost every week for 6 months and it's all I know how to do. Not even a sts in all that time! I don't need to lose any more, although I can, but the thought of stepping on the scales to see no change or even a tiny gain petrifies me!

Didn't stop me being naughty today and having a Joe's burger and a Joe's sausage in WHITE ROLLS!!!!! :D

Increasing B choices is the best way, although obviously you can relax a teeny bit on counting syns - you just have to be careful that those bad habits (and we all have some) don't creep back unchecked...

It took me *months* to get the balance right; a combination of an uncounted treat night (note treat, not binge), a few 'on plan' days, some extra b and a choices ... the ultimate target is to do all of the above and feel like you are eating 'normally' - it takes time, but staying at target can be forever if you get the balance right, so settling into the new normal just takes a bit of time...

Biggest hint OF ALL of course is to stay at class, weigh in every week and stay for Image therapy - talk about food, stay enthused and motivated, help others - and know you have a group if you go awol for a bit (holidays still happen ) and need some support to get it back on track

enjoy - it is rather fun :D
